I was part of the group of climate realists from CFACT who pulled off an international climate caper against Greenpeace yesterday. We spent the morning boarding the Greenpeace vessel Arctic Sunrise and hung a banner that read “Ship of Lies.” There was no confrontation on the boat as we distracted the staff on deck with donuts.

The Greenpeace flagship Rainbow Warrior was harder to locate as it was anchored further out in the sail-in to Copenhagen. We used the on-board web cams to triangulate the exact location of the ship. We then got in our rubber dingies and sailed up long side the ship. We rechristened the ship “Propaganda Warrior” by unfurling a banner in front of it.
